I hope this Tuesday evening finds you well and relaxed. I know I need it. Today was a day from H E double hockey sticks. But I have my mind clear now, and I am ready to share with you my two tips for “Twosday”. 😊
I am pretty worn out so I am going to make this one short and sweet.
First tip, going with the bad day theme here, when you start having a bad day, I want to encourage you to do an exercise I heard about called “grounding”. It’s one that is sometimes used for people who have anxiety. When your day starts to go south, think of five people you need in your life. Then think of four places you’ve got to travel to. Then think of three accomplishments you are proud of. Then think of two ways you can make someone else’s day better. Then think of one phrase that encourages or inspires you. Try it and let me know what you think.
Second tip, and this one I struggle with, is starting every day in a good mood. Choosing to be in a good mood. I didn’t choose to be in one or go into it with a positive mind this morning. And look what happened. My day was crap. Because I had a bad attitude. I can’t blame anyone but myself.
